  • Responsible for all aspects of web development in this 1300-employee corporation
  • Developed a strategic vision for internet development, with a flexible base plan that was able to accommodate evolving corporate objectives, changing landscape of trading partners, addition of new operations divisions, and other variables
  • Worked with vice president of marketing, brand manager, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver their messages through the use of technology and content
  • Hired and managed a high-performance work team to develop and maintain the corporate site, several intranets and extranets, and numerous proprietary applications and marketing programs in Cold Fusion
  • Responsible for all information architecture for application development
  • Developed and managed a $500K annual budget
  • Managed relationships with outside creative agencies and freelancers
  • Architected an interactive site based on BroadVision Commerce One-to-One, as well as a scalable extranet complex to serve dozens of partners, based on Allaire Spectra
  • Championed and led the development of a PDA-enabled site to be viewed on handheld computers, and then recycled the same code into a site compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act to enable the sales force to target government clients
  • Initiated development of a corporate web site running Generator on top of Spectra that allowed users to customize their look and feel, as well receive personalized content

    Applications developed under my management included:

  • Sales Blitz application designed to increase the efficiency of sales reps making end-of-quarter lead follow-ups
  • Lead Response Capture application allowing sales executives at various levels to view or modify lead assignments and associated activity (also created a PDA-version for sales reps to use on the road)
  • Trade Show System enabling marketing event managers to assign tasks and duties automatically to various participants
  • Executive Briefing System, which automated the scheduling of highly-orchestrated analyst, media, and client visits
  • Continued to be responsible for creating and acquiring content, and ensuring that all content was accurate and fresh

  • Responsible for development of a variety of sites, including customer sites, intranets, and extranets
  • Performed project management and developed information architecture
  • Led a team to develop a large database-driven intranet to support the sales cycle on a short deadline

  • Developed value-added business from $675 thousand total previous year to $1.72 million in next fiscal year -- over 250% growth in a single fiscal year

  • Led a 4-person team to analyze market trends and respond to increasing product demand

Eastern Area Training Coordinator

  • Developed and delivered highly customized training agendas of up to $250 thousand each in the Eastern United States and Canada
  • Leveraged hardware sales of over $250 million by working with technical teams to customize and deliver crucial value-added training in timeframes as short as two weeks
